Description
The Whitewater Brass Quintet includes faculty members Frank Hansen, trumpet, Edward Hong, trumpet, Linda Kimball, horn, Michael Dugan, trombone, John Tuinstra, tuba, joined by MyungHee Chung, piano. The program includes Music for Piano and Brass Quintet by Collier Jones. The following three pieces are piano works that have been arranged for brass quintet, Sonata V by J.S. Bach arr. David Baldwin, Fugue XVI (Book 2) by J.S. Bach arr. Scott Johnston, Three Preludes by George Gershwin arr. Bill Holcombe; Four Sketches for Brass Quintet by Anthony Plog and Salvation is Created by Paul Tschesnokov trans., David Thompson.
