The Cultural Arts Center is located on 402 West Main Street in the historic White building near the Birge Fountain. Parking is behind the building. An elevator is available for access from the parking lot entrance. In addition to displaying student 3D art, the exhibit will also feature any artist who would like to include their work in the display. The work must be original by the submitting artist. Applications to enter are due via mail, postmarked no later than February 19th. There is a student discounted rate of $15 (with student identification). Whitewater Arts Alliance members can receive a discounted rate of $25. The standard entry fee is $30. Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of "Upon a Pedestal." Hosted by the Whitewater Arts Alliance and organized by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Student Taylor McDarison and Lecturer Teresa Lind, the exhibition pays homage to 3D artwork. The show runs from March 4 to 20 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center on 402 West Main Street. A free reception will be on Saturday, March 5 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.Date and Time

Description
The exhibit will be juried by UW-Whitewater's Mutópe Johnson, a professor at UW-Whitewater as an Inclusive Excellence Fellowship Award Winner.
Organizer Taylor McDarison, who is also a board member of the Whitewater Arts Alliance, said, “We are incredibly excited to be working with Mutope Johnson during this exhibition. He is constantly going beyond the classroom to help students pursue their art.”
