Whitewater Historical Society member Carol Cartwright will be giving a presentation on Spiritualism and the Morris Pratt Institute. She will discuss what Spiritualism was/is and how the Morris Pratt Institute reflected this highly popular and controversial movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She will also discuss how Spiritualists and their practices were the foundation for many of the legends of occult activities in Whitewater.
