SONICT presents: Undue

Description

The Music Department and SONICT present Undue in Light Recital Hall – Undue features two UW- Whitewater percussion graduates who have gone on to finish their masters degrees. Nick Fox continued his studies at Northern Illinois University and Trevor Saint who continued his studies at University of Alaska- Fairbanks. In its inaugural tour, Undue performs established works by Mark Applebaum, Brian Ferneyhough, Matt Sargent and Stuart Saunders Smith, and recent pieces by Amanda Schoofs and David Vayo. With a desire to foster serious compositions for percussion duo, Undue will in addition be premiering two new works by Christopher Burns and Jeff Herriott.
