Natureland Park Walk

On July 2nd, we will be hosting a tour of Natureland Park. The group will meet at 9 AM in the open shelter near the parking area off Territorial Road. A County Forester will explain the need to reforest some of the non-native pine woods. Please wear sturdy shoes for walking on mowed and wood chipped trails. Bring a water bottle for this 90 minute leisurely walk and talk. Natureland Park?s 122 acres has four hiking trails, which provide the opportunity to observe the beautiful Kettle Moraine terrain. Springs and wetlands support a variety of vegetation, displaying the ecological diversity found in the park. The Kettle Moraine Land Trust assists Walworth County in managing the best natural areas in the park.
