Lock-up for MDA

Delta Zeta and DECA are teaming together to bring MDA?s Lock-up event to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater?s campus in support of students on campus living with muscle disease. Leaders on campus?both students and faculty, as well as Whitewater community members, will be nominated to be ?locked up? as Jailbirds for MDA. Jailbirds will connect with classmates, colleagues, professional contacts, and friends to raise their bail of $1,600?which is the cost of sending two children with muscle disease to MDA Summer Camp. The Lock-up will culminate with Jailbirds and their supporters coming together on November 5th from 4pm-7pm in UC Hamilton Room to raise their remaining bail, enjoy food and entertainment, hear stories from MDA clients and families, and celebrate the impact they have made for the over 1,300 MDA clients in Southern Wisconsin?especially those at UW-Whitewater and the Whitewater community.
