Description
Jazz I will be performing a program of music composed/arranged by all-women composers. The program includes At Sea by our guest artist Ingrid Jensen, jazz trumpet and arranged by Fred Sturm and two pieces Treelines and Red Cedar by her sister Christine Jensen, saxophonist. Additional works include Lone Yellow Road, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Bird Count and Evanescence by Maria Schneider, Tone Poem, Melba Liston, Whistle Blue, Mary Lou Williams, All I Need, Radiohead tune arr. by Sherisse Rogers and Cross Currents, Ellen Rowe.
