Description
November 7 9 am - 3 pm Be a part of the practicality and elegance of carriage driving with experienced teamsters who will share their skills in handling, harnessing and driving carriage horses. Learn about carriage horse breeds, care and nutrition, vehicles and training. This hands-on, daylong workshop is primarily designed for those without driving experience, although a familiarity with horses is required. Held on-site at Old World Wisconsin, you will drive back into the past in horse-drawn vehicles as you travel among our historic buildings. Prerequisite: Familiarity with horses Cost: $150 Reservations are required.
