Green Bay Packers Tailgate Fundraiser

On behalf of the Whitewater Federation of Women’s Clubs, the Emerson Club is sponsoring a Packer Tailgate Fundraiser on October 20, 2016 from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Bassett House, 708 W. Main Street, Whitewater. The event will consist of a tailgate lunch of brats and burgers and all the trimmings. Door prizes will be given away – some donated by the Packers themselves. Then will come an afternoon of table games, such as bridge, poker, mahjongg, cribbage, or Scrabble. Folks can put their own tables together or indicate their game preference with their reservation and let the event sponsors find them others to play with. All proceeds will go to the WFWC’s Bassett House Endowment Fund and will be used to preserve the Bassett House, one of Whitewater’s historic treasures. Tickets are $25 each, although anything above and beyond will be greatly appreciated. Reservations must be made by October 14, 2016, and space is limited. So make your reservation soon.
