Alex Tyink, President of Fork Farms, will discuss how his company has incorporated a CSR model, and will share the benefits of CSR including increased profitability, enhanced customer loyalty, heighted employee morale, and significant community enrichment. About Fork Farms: Fork Farms is a WI business that builds and installs their own patented modular, vertical, hydroponic farming systems. Their product is highly energy, water, and space efficient and costs only approximately $300.00 per year in energy and consumables while producing an average of 30 pounds of produce every 28 days! Fork Farms is a successful company based on a social justice model. They believe their technology and product can and should be a conduit for social change. Fork Farms partners with educational institutions, health care organizations, and other non-profits. They provide and service the farm units, and they create and support curriculum for various indoor faming applications including science education, nutrition education, healthy living, therapeutic gardening, hydroponics, and more.
