Employment and Volunteer Open House at Old World Wisconsin

In preparation for the 2017 operating season, Old World Wisconsin seeks employees to help bring Wisconsin history to life! At Old World Wisconsin, our vision is to be a top history attraction by setting the standard for guest experiences that are engaging, enriching, authentic and relevant. Our team is looking for enthusiastic applicants, who believe in exceptional customer service and have the vision to bring history alive for guests of all interests and ages, to fill seasonal full and part-time positions. Check the web site for a complete list and descriptions of the available positions. Most positions are mid-April through October, plus the first two week-ends in December. We need workers for weekdays and week-ends, part-time or 40 hours per week and flexibility may be an option for some positions. Our normal museum hours are 10am to 5pm. New interpreters are trained in skills like woodstove cooking, gardening and crafts as well as storytelling, engagement techniques and communication skills. Period clothing and/or uniforms are provided. Background checks are routine. Those interested should stop in any time during the open house to learn more and to complete an application.
