Tickets 262-472-2222 Dollars & Sense for Arts Entrepreneurs Nov. 19 with Gary Vaughan will be held in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship week at the Whitewater University Technology Park Innovation Center, 1221 Innovation Drive, Whitewater WI 53190 on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 1:00 ? 4:00 pm. Gary Vaughan will be discussing financial literacy for arts entrepreneurs. In this session learn what financial statements are, when we need them, why we need them, and how we use them, all in a language you can understand. Learn what a business owner needs to know about financial ratios and what a banker looks for before they lend money. Learn how to price your art to make a profit, and about the difference in calculating income and profit. Gary Vaughan uses the book Financial Intelligence for Entrepreneurs Gary has shown a passion for helping small business owners though his work in economic development and counseling them to sustainability and growth. He launched Guident Business Solutions, LLC a management and consulting firm in 2008 which specialized ins firms of less than ten million in revenues and under 50 employees. Gary is a member of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and sits on their finance committee and an active member of the Self-Employment in the Arts Advisory Board and currently is an Instructor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Coordinator of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Interdisciplinary Area at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.Date and Time
