SONICT presents Cosmographie in Light Recital Hall. Cosmographie is an evening of performance and art that celebrates the Earth and our place within this amazing ecosystem. If, ¬as Aldo Leopold states, ?Conservation is the a state of harmony between men and land,? the performances that make up a Cosmographie show strive to bring about a heightened awareness of our world and through art, an appreciation for our local landscape and our harmonious connection to the universe. This iteration of Cosmographie will include the UWW Chamber Cingers and Concert Choir. The Chamber Singers will be performing a piece by the composer Yehuda Yannay who will be in attendance. A sculptural performance by Teri Frame will take place as well as a performance by the UWW Phonographers Union. Professors Jeff Herriott and Matt Sintchak will play a live soundtrack, and the PakaPaka lightshow will present reactive visuals throughout the night. An audio piece composed by Chris Bocast based on the work of the naturalist, Aldo Leopold, will also be performed.Date and Time
