262.723.4653 This fun Poker Run will be held in Williams Bay along the beautiful shoreline of Geneva Lake. Walk the shore path or kayak, paddleboard or canoe the Bay; the choice is yours! (Participants must bring their own equipment or rent from a recommended vendor.) Coast-Guard-approved life vests are mandatory for all kayak, canoe and paddleboard participants. The route begins at Wesley Woods Retreat Center, lakefront in Williams Bay, follows the shore around Conference Point, around Williams Bay to Cedar Point, and then returns to Wesley Woods. Choose a 3-or 6-mile route. Participants will stop at various checkpoints (piers), along the route to collect playing cards and compete for the top poker hand. A continental breakfast will be provided upon completion of the event, and prizes will be awarded to the top poker hands. It is a fun way to get out and enjoy the beautiful area we live in while supporting a very important cause. All proceeds go to support the mission of preventing family and sexual violence. New Beginnings APFV is Walworth County’s only non-profit organization that provides free, confidential services to survivors of domestic violence as well as sexual assault.Date and Time
