2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
Base Pay of $38.80 (more based on experience) + $2.00 Shift Bonus + $2.00 shift differential (hours worked between 2pm-6am)
Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for 135 years, is searching for an Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate critical thinking abilities, self-reliance, initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment.
Position Summary:
Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilities
- Provide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and national
- electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being done
- Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance
- Assists in supporting the company's preventative maintenance program
- Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas
- Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as required
- All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Display skills equivalent to that of a Journeyman Electrician; Specifically, but not limited to:
- Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controls
- Bending and installing conduit
- Pulling wire for installs
- Installing an array of fixtures
- Threading and installing hanging anchors
- Cleaning circuit boards and contacts
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels
- Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated.
- Ability to demonstrate self-reliance in all aspects of maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills such as problem solving, timeliness, and follow-up- required
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance PM and PDM maintenance strategies
