The Book Teller is honored to host Dr. Ozalle Toms on Saturday, February 19th at 6pm as she shares excerpts from her memoir, "Letting Perseverance Finish", and speaks on writing her first book. Copies available in-store Jan 17.
Despite experiencing painful childhood trauma and abuse by those entrusted with her care, Dr. Tom's story is one of hope, faith, and forgiveness, as she declares, "...your past doesn't have to determine your future."
"Ozalle Toms’ page-turning memoir is a clear-eyed and courageous look back at a life marked by loneliness, trauma, and institutional neglect. But it is also ultimately a story of hope and faith--of a woman who, despite one unimaginable obstacle after another, finds her way to healing and to herself."
