Piano Camp

Description

For over 30 years, UW-Whitewater Piano Camp has offered young pianists focused study in performance of solo, duo, and collaborative piano. Our camp offers daily individual and group lessons, performance class, master class and faculty and guest artist recitals. Collaboration between pianists and vocal/instrumental campers along with the study of music theory from the daily core of our faculty-led classes. Electives including improvisation, organ/harpsichord study, or exploration of recording and notation software combine to broaden our campers' musical experience. Students will have access to many of the university’s recreational facilities. Our core mission is to inspire student pianists to enhance their practice and strengthen performance.
