The UW-Whitewater Summer Musical Theatre Camp is dedicated to providing middle school and high school students with an excellent, week-long, concentrated musical and theatrical experience. We will present Pure Imagination, a Broadway Junior Review, featuring songs from Willy Wonka, Shrek, Peter Pan, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, HONK!, Annie, Frozen, Elf, and other favorite shows. The All-Camp Chorale returns as well, under the direction of Brian Nabors. Class offerings enable students to explore and deepen their skills in singing, acting, and dance. Private voice lessons are available for an additional fee. A balanced program of musical instruction and supervised recreational activities creates an atmosphere conducive to total learning, fun, and individual growth. This camp is available to singers who are entering grades 7-12 and graduating seniors.
