I Want To Be A Teacher

Description

This four-day overnight camp is designed for high school students interested in becoming teachers. You will live on campus and meet UW-Whitewater College of Education & Professional Studies students, staff, and faculty. Campers will learn about all levels of teaching, from Early Childhood to Secondary Education, and how to work with students of various abilities while getting the chance to apply what they learn with area teachers. You will also learn how to prepare for college and a future teaching career. In addition, there will be time for fun evening activities like bowling, games, movies, and more. The program is led by a College Staff Coordinator and Peer Mentors/Counselors.
