Description
This week-long residential camp is designed for middle school students interested in game development. Participants will create games in teams, with an opportunity to work on programming and the creation and manipulation of art and sound assets. Participants will produce working games during the session, with a showcase of games on the last day. Participants will learn and practice making art for their games created during the camp. No experience is necessary. A typical day will include faculty-led sessions with students in the morning, supervised work time and team game/asset development in the afternoons, followed by game-related activities in the evenings (films, game tournaments, etc.).
