In the last 65 years the communities of Colfax, Barneveld, and Oakfield, Wisconsin have all experienced one of nature’s most destructive forces. These communities have a common bond as they have all been hit by an F5 tornado. In this talk, we will look at the conditions that lead to these events and find the commonalities between them. We will also see how these communities recovered from these powerful events.
