"Color As I See It" Art Exhibit at Roberta's Art Gallery

Celebrate summer with a trip to Roberta’s Art Gallery and visit the work of artist Janet Nelson. The exhibit, “Color As I See It,” will run July 6 - July 29 and features her latest focus: large floral paintings brimming with captivating color. She establishes a recognizable style across her work, while simultaneously providing each piece with its own unique characteristics and personality. 

Nelson is based out of Cambridge, Wis., and has created art ever since she was a child. She discovered her passion to become an artist through print-making courses at Carroll College. Nelson’s personal philosophy is to not take herself too seriously. She says, “Paint the color you see and remember- it’s just paint.”
