uwwarts@uww.edu The Chamber Singers will present the world premiere of Wind Rising in the Alleys by UW-Whitewater Music faculty member, Christian Ellenwood. Setting a poem by the early twentieth-century Irish-American poet and social activist, Lola Ridge, Ellenwood's music is at turns lyrical, anguished, and empowering.
